And I’m really, really trying to figure out how to do that. Here’s my current strategy: 1) Read EVERYTHING. 2) Listen. In my day job, I’m a licensed psychologist. Witnessing my clients' big, beautiful lives has grown me so much. 3) Write. Creating characters and worlds seems a decent shot at those infinite lives I’m after. The other things I do with the one life I definitely get: co-create and revise my own special brand form of domesticity with my loved ones and pets, move my body (almost constantly), and stay on top of current events. Sometimes I sleep. Once in awhile I cook. And, something very important: butter is the way to my heart.
